We have lots of opportunities at Plymouth Christian Centre for people to get involved by serving in different ways. We are all called, as Christians, to play our part in spreading the love of Christ to others.
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." 1 PETER 4:10
Every Sunday a team of people help to welcome others to church and serve tea and coffee after both services (10.30am and 6.30pm). You can welcome on the door and/or serve coffee on a rota basis, helping about once a month.
We have a lot of children and teenagers at the church so we are always looking for new volunteers in this area. We run Kidz Klub and The Source Youth on a Friday night, which are primarily outreach groups for the local community. On a Sunday morning we have Kidzone and the Source on Sunday for 2-18 year olds.
We are looking for volunteers to help run our multimedia system at both Sunday services, on a rota basis - training will be given but a basic understanding of computers is essential. We also need volunteers to operate the video camera on a Sunday morning only, again on a rota basis.
This year as a church, we want to make up 50 shoeboxes to give to the static Soup Run so that we can bless the homeless at Christmas time. Your shoebox should be wrapped in Christmas paper (we should still be able to open it so please wrap your box and lid separately). Please let us know if you have packed your shoebox for a man or woman. The shoeboxes and packing lists will be made available to collect from Sunday 12 November at Connect Corner.Shoeboxes must be returned to Connect Corner by Sunday 10 December. For any enquires, talk to Lydia Oliver or contact us here

There are also other serving opportunities not mentioned above, but these are the main areas we need people to currently serve in. If you would like to find out more about serving at the church please fill in the form below.
