Information

Settling In
We feel that all children (and parents/carers) need to have a “settling in” period before they start at Roundabout. This ensures a gentle introduction to nursery life. On your first visit you will be encouraged to stay with your child and then on the second visit to leave him/her for a couple of hours.

Daily Requirements
Baby – Bottles of milk, nappies, change of clothes
Tiny tots – Nappies, change of clothes
Toddlers – Nappies, change of clothes
Pre-school – Change of clothes

Opening Hours
Opening hours are 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year. Early opening times are available on request. Nursery closes on Bank Holidays and for one week at Christmas

Holidays
One week holiday pro-rata is free of charge, taken at Christmas. There is no charge for bank holidays, however, all other absences are charged as normal unless your child is hospitalised. One month’s written notice is required of your intention to withdraw your child.

Medicines
We are able to administer medicines on completion of a medication form and written letter of consent. A qualified member of staff will administer the dosage. Please note that in ALL cases of diarrhoea, conjunctivitis and contagious diseases children MUST be excluded from nursery.
