Our Aims -To encourage children to learn through experiencing a wide range of activities and play facilities. This is seen throughout the nursery from three months to school age.-To ensure that children are involved in their own learning and are encouraged to realise their full potential and become learners for life. -To provide a lively, stimulating learning environment. This encourages active learning, the acquisition of skills and knowledge, and the development of an inquiring mind, building on foundations laid at home and their own experiences. -To provide a curriculum which gives opportunity for depth of learning as well as breadth and balance. Giving a wide range of experiences to develop and build on existing knowledge and providing opportunities to learn new skills. -To provide clear guidance concerning behaviour; encouraging the development of self-respect and tolerance of others with different views, and building up a trusting relationship between parents, children and practitioners. -To develop and maintain a good staff team which ensures continuity across phases and to provide for practitioners’ personal and professional development. -Parents/carers are encouraged to become involved in the activities and curriculum of the nursery, working in partnership with staff and offering opportunities for all children, whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability. The children’s safety and well-being is paramount. Your child is precious and important to us.
