New Here?

Welcome to Plymouth Christian Centre, an Elim Pentecostal Church in the centre of Plymouth.

We exist to love and to serve the people of Plymouth and beyond, enabling them to become wholehearted followers of Christ.

We are temporarily meeting at a different venue at the moment due to building works at our current church. Between April and August 2013 we are meeting at St. Jude's Church, Beaumont Road, Plymouth, PL4 9BJ. Our services times are at 3pm and 6.30pm during this period.

Frequently Asked Questions...

What are the services like?
Our Sunday services are currently at 3pm and 6.30pm, with groups for children and youth during our 3pm service. We worship together, hear God’s word and regularly allow time for prayer and response. We serve tea and coffee before the afternoon service (2.30pm-3pm) and after the 6.30pm service, to help you get to know others.

Do I need to dress smart?
Not at all. Some people like to dress up for church, whilst others wear jeans and trainers; it’s up to you.

Where is the church and is there parking?
We are currently meeting at a different church building on a Sunday - St. Jude's Church, Beaumont Road, Plymouth PL4 9BJ. Get directions.

There is free parking on the streets surrounding the church. If you are elderly/disabled there are a few spaces outside of St. Jude's Church  that you can use but you will need to apply for a permit if you are a regular member.

What is there for children and youth?
On Sunday afternoons we have Kidzone, for children aged 2-11. They have a lot of fun playing, singing and learning about God and faith in creative ways. We also have the Source on Sunday for 11-18 year olds. Both groups meet from 2.30pm-4.30pm, Kidzone meet at St. Jude's Church, whilst the youth meet at Plymouth Christian Centre (in our upstairs hall.) On a Friday night we have Kidz Klub, for children aged 5-11, a fun night of games, competitions and teaching and The Source youth group, for 11-18 year olds.

If I decide to make Plymouth Christian Centre my home church, how do I get more involved?
We recommend signing up to our Discovery: Membership Course. It takes place over one Sunday afternoon, which includes lunch. You get to meet the church leaders, hear about the vision and values of the church - both past and future, and discover what it means to become a member of the church. You may also want to join a Community Group or start volunteering in some way.
